Welcome to the home of the Riyadh Wheelers cycling club. We are a cycling club composed mostly of expats and we have been in existence since 1992. Last season (2010/11) the Wheelers had over 80 members and were generously sponsored by Novartis Consumer Health for the 4th consecutive year, plus several notable minor sponsors. This season our numbers exceed 100 with new sponsorship negotiations taking place which will be announced shortly. We are proud to reflect the local community and are represented by: Saudi Arabia, Canada, the Philippines, Switzerland, Great Britain, Ireland, Isle of Man, Italy, Australia, South Africa, USA, Japan, France, Germany, Spain, Sweden, Holland, Syria, Finland, Denmark, Austria, Czechoslovakia and New Zealand. Our 2010/11 season comprised of 14 points scoring races, with the 2-day event run as an 'open' and the season running from September to April. We also ran a self-timed 10 mile TT summer league where the temperatures reached into the high 40's (results on this page). So whether you're a serious contender or more of a social rider, the Wheelers have something to offer you. Come out and join us! Sponsorship We're always looking for sponsors to support our club. No amount is too small and it'll be put to good use. Sponsors will get their logos placed on club kit, on our website and headline press coverage in the Arab News, the biggest circulation English newspaper. **Hot News** Skate Shack, Bahrain, confirm again as a Major Sponsor for 2011-2012.
